Travel to Jonesboro Arkansas

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.   I hope to give you a few ideas of what to do while in the city.

First let's talk about restaurants.  There is every major restaurant in this city including Longhorns, Chilis and lets not forget McDonald's and Burger King.  However, downtown you will find one of a kind restaurants like Skinny J's.  If you make it to Skinny J's, try their fried pickles.

What would I suggest for a day trip?  Well, there is Hijinx which is a bowling alley with arcade.  Locked Away Escapes which are escape rooms.  Battle of Jonesboro can be followed from downtown.  If you have children, there is a playground that is on southend of town on Caraway Road.  Very nice area to take the little ones to expend some energy.  There is a movie theater that is off Parker Road if it decides to rain.  There is an RV park off Parker Road as well if you decide to bring your home on wheels which happens to be pretty close to a putt-putt golf location.

Jonesboro, Arkansas has a college (Arkansas State University) which is the home of the Red Wolves so if you happen to be in the area during football be sure to catch a game.  During the summer time, you can check out the Farmer's Market across from the college.

Jonesboro is in Craighead County and is a dry county.  If you are needing adult refreshments, you will have to travel to a nearby county and bring it back with you.
